A popular Western conception of feng shui is that’s it’s simply a way to organize and streamline the possessions within your home. However, this ancient technique is more than a way to de-clutter, it’s a symbolic Chinese system of aesthetics that when practiced can bring harmony to your home. The literal translation of feng shui is “wind and water,” and the practice of feng shui accounts for astronomy, environment, and the natural elements when planning the layout of a building. Feng shui advises the strategic placement of objects within any given building so they remain in harmony with the surrounding environment and inspire positive energy and balance. Factors that determine each positive location include the year the individual was born, the surrounding natural environment, and movements of the solar system.

With origins dating back to the third century B.C. during the Han Dynasty in China, feng shui was historically practiced with a compass-style instrument that read the stars and determined the North-South orientations of Chinese cities. Feng shui was viewed as a tool to ensure the health, wealth and prosperity of the imperial dynasties, and is still used today as an element of traditional architecture in China. The purpose of feng shui in modern culture is to create human environments that harness good qi: the literal translation of qi is “life force energy,” a state that can swing between positive and negative energies according to the structure of your home and its interaction with your surrounding environment.

In addition to the placement of objects and furniture within your home, there are products and simple techniques that will help you create balance in your home.

Wind chimes are an instrumental component of feng shui, however they must be strategically placed. The sound of a wind chime is believed to activate or enliven the Chi or “energy” in an area, and the melodic sound of a wind chime will subtly alter your own mood, which in turn will enhance the energy and peace of your environment. Choose wind chimes that correspond to the size of your space—choose a smaller chime for offices and bedrooms and large wind chimes for open outdoor spaces. Use wind chimes made from a material that corresponds to each area’s element. For example, a southeastern room corresponds to the element wood, so you would want to use a wooden wind chime in that room. Gongs are an alternative to wind chimes that also evoke scintillating sound and counteract negative Chi.

Arbors and trellises can be used to inspire balance in the gardens and recreational areas outside your home. Climbing vines can be trained around the lattices of a trellis, which blends nature with the structures in your backyard so the two elements live in harmony together. Arbors are also an excellent way to create a reflective retreat outside your home—a place where you can sit peacefully with a good book or contemplate the events of the day. Alternately, garden fountains are a wonderful way to bring the soothing sound of nature indoors. Consider a small indoor fountain for placement on a dining table or dresser to maximize the flow of life energy and activate positive Chi indoors.

Tips for practicing feng shui in your home:

1. Fill your rooms with natural light. Use light-colored or sheer curtains and open the windows often for fresh air that will energize each room.
2. Study the five elements of feng shui: wood, fire, earth, metal, and water, and learn how to use each material and its colors appropriately in various rooms of your home to balance the energy in your environment.
3. Be mindful of your bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. The placement of objects in these three key areas is inherently connected to your health and well-being.
4. Keep doorways and doorsteps free of shoes and clutter so good Chi may travel freely throughout your home.
5. Decorate with the color red sparingly, as it represents the element of fire and could bring undue stress to your home, and accent each room with live plants to feel the yang chi of joy in every indoor space.

When choosing a property, have a mountain at the back and water features in front

“Mountains govern matters related to human relationships and longevity while water affects one’s financial health and growth,” said the fengshui master.

Advised homebuyers to look for properties with these features to enjoy their benefits.

Importance should be placed on the environment, building and personal aspects when buying a property.

Good feng shui is understated, zen-like and clean, urged housebuyers to avoid certain locations which were “unfriendly high tension wires were not just bad for feng shui, but bad for health, too.
One should also avoid places at top of hills, that faces mountains and at lower parts of valleys,

Feng shui has been around for a long time, but I’ve always been a bit of a sceptic. I mean, how can you change your life by moving furniture around? Or improve your fortune by purchasing ornaments for the house?

Feng shui is a serious profession. If you look back to ancient times in China, the emperor was the only one allowed to receive the benefits of feng shui. The practice was not attainable by common people.

Feng shui espouses that there is a strong link between humanity and nature and that the way in which one interacts with his surroundings has a significant influence on his life and fortune – the ideal result being to attain a measure of balance and harmony with nature. Achieving such a balance in one’s own home is thus of great importance. In Feng Shui For Harmony In The Home, the author makes use of her architectural background to provide a comprehensive analysis of the various factors involved in ensuring the presence of such harmony in one’s abode, from the positioning of the house right down to the very decorations used within.

Are you in search of “down to earth” home decorating ideas that create an ambience of serene beauty, contemplation and inner peace? If so, the answer is revealed outside your doorstep! When stepping into nature and observing its myriad of colors, shapes, patterns and textures; decorating with elements of nature are “free” for the asking!

You can create an interior sanctuary when applying symbolism of nature’s elements: Earth, Air, Mineral, Wood, Nature, Water or Fire to the decorating style of your space. Element represents a season of the year, cardinal direction, color and textures. Element can even reflect a style, or in this case, a room theme! How does it work? Since Water represents the season of autumn, and is an element that evokes contemplation, introspection, repose and revitalization, let’s apply this element for our example!

To create a decorating plan that represents the Water element, you would start by developing a “Water” theme. Creating a color scheme that symbolizes this element would be the first phase of the theme. The element of Water symbolizes the colors blue and black. You can select fabrics, window treatments, carpets, vases, candles and other accessories in variations of blue and black. To create visual interest naturally reflected in water, you can marry up these colors in a variety of abstractual patterns of ocean waves and smooth silky sea textures.

The next phase is the selection of furniture. The element of Water is reflected in the furnishings you appoint to your space. Contemporary furnishings in glass will create the illusion of water. Furniture can represent fine, simplistic lines and contemporary styles depictive of the repose and relaxation of the sea.

Summarize your theme with accessories. Accent accessories can carry the Water theme with seashells, rocks, bamboo, cranes, fish, lotus and other sea life. Rocks and seashells can evoke special symbolism when “personally” selected from nature. A sand garden (Zen Garden) is a wonderful conversational piece that inspires relaxation, contemplation and meditation. Waterfalls (tabletop, free-standing or wall treatment)and aquariums are therapeutic accents that lend peace and tranquility to a lifespace.

The element of Water represents the west cardinal direction. Furnishings are aligned with the west to enhance energy in the space.

These simple ideas can guide you in creating a personal sanctuary – one that lends peace, harmony and balance for the mind, body and spirit.

These feng shui bedroom tips will provide you with some extremely effective ideas to help harmonize and encourage positive energy flow around room of rest. A huge amount of time is spent in our bedrooms and probably a high percentage of that is spent sleeping. Overall, it accounts for at least one third of our whole life!

Our bedrooms are a place to rest and relax whether we share the space or live alone. It should be a comfortable place, peaceful, a hiding place from the outside stresses of the world and everyday worries, even a place of romance. Take some time to follow along with these great feng shui bedroom tips to help make your bedroom your favorite place in the whole house!

Feng Shui Bedroom Tips: #1
Cluttered Space, Cluttered Mind

A well known and must do rule when using feng shui in any area is to get rid of that clutter. It gathers and piles up over time when we put things off, rush around, keep sentimental items around us or if we’re just plain lazy. It happens to us all, but realizing that scattered piled up clutter and mess creates a energy trap that stagnates the flow of positive energy causing shar chi or bad energy should be enough for you to take control of it and clear that clutter away.

It basically serves as a blocking force when energy is trying to flow, stopping it and turning it bad. If it can’t flow, the positive energy diminishes. It can weigh mentally and physically on us in our bedroom, causing restless worrying and a unsettled subconscious. So open that window, get some fresh air and natural light into the room and clear that clutter, letting the good energy flow its way through. Don’t forget about all the mess under the bed too. Find a good storage spot for it or get rid of it. In feng shui, bedroom tips like these will not only help make your room a nicer, more inviting place to be, but it will do the same for your mind. Clear the clutter and clear your mind.

Feng Shui Bedroom Tips: #2
Where Should I Sleep?

If you have a full view of the windows and entrance to your room when lying on your bed, you’re off to a great start to the correct feng shui position. Behind you should be a solid wall that symbolizes support and security for you. Never ever position your bed facing your door so your head, feet and doorway are in one straight line. This is known as the coffin position and will interfere with your sleep with it’s negative energy patterns. Other things that can interfere with restful sleep are construction beams crossing above you, even mirrors, hanging mobiles or anything else that can hang over the bed. They can drain you of energy and take away those precious hours of rest we need to be healthy. If these kind of things exist in your home and can’t be avoided you should look at employing some feng shui cures to counterbalance this bad energy. You can find more information on this on my website.

Feng Shui Bedroom Tips: #3
Mirror Mirror on the Wall

Mirrors have reflective qualities that when used in feng shui can help to bounce energy, either good or bad around your space either out of the door or back into the room. In your bedroom however, reflective energy from mirrors will disturb your sleep. Although not recommended, if you do have a mirror in your room, make sure that it doesn’t reflect you when you’re lying on your bed, resting. If you share your bed with your partner, it’s important that the mirror doesn’t reflect th bed, you or your partner. This symbolizes more than two people in your relationship and can promote infidelity. It’s best to remove the mirrors that break these rules to encourage a healthy, positive bedroom environment.

Feng Shui Bedroom Tips: #4
No Electrics in the Bedroom

In a harmonized feng shui bedroom, there should ideally be no electrical appliances to be seen. They radiate electromagnetic frequencies even when they’re switched off and can lead to restless sleep. Some appliances seem like essentials to a room but if you do have them, try to minimize the amount you have. Put batteries in your clock radio and get rid of that TV and computer, the bedroom is no place for these even though it seems very convenient. Remove any plugs from their sockets when you’re not using them and keep your head away from any outlets, at least two meters.

Feng Shui Bedroom Tips: #5
Colors, Decoration and Furniture

Strong, bright and bold colors in the bedroom are too much for the bedroom and will unbalance the energy leading to sleep problems. Calming colors and tones are much preferred to reflect the essence of the bedroom, a resting place. If you have a small room, use even lighter tones to give the illusion of a larger space. Larger rooms should make use of color tones that are a little darker, maybe only on particular walls to help make the space more cozy and comfortable.

Most bedrooms are not overly large, and adding furniture in there can lead to lots of blocked and stagnant energy which is the last thing we want. Limit the pieces of furniture in there, keep things in positions that complement the bed and that don’t display poison arrows or sharp corners. Round edged tables and chairs for example would be much better. In the same light, bookshelves should also be avoid in the bedroom because of their protruding qualities. Although fresh flowers may seem like a great idea in the bedroom, they will stimulate energy in the room which will not help you sleep sound. The same goes for aquariums with moving water features or even pictures of water that will all contribute to vitalizing the energy disrupting your rest.

The feng shui bedroom tips we’ve shows here will not only create a peaceful space, physically and mentally, but it’ll also give you long lasting hassle-free sleep in your intimate personal place of rest.

Use these great feng shui bedroom tips wisely and they’ll help you to create your very own private sanctuary, your new favorite room in the entire house.

Sleep well!

The key to finding the right feng shui colors for your home is to first learn two very important principles of feng shui. There are five elements in feng shui that influences us and our surroundings. These five elements are Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. We need to create balance between these elements in order to achieve harmony in those surroundings. The Bagua is a tool that helps locate different areas of a room or the entire home that corresponds to different areas of your life. Simply use this tool to determine the areas of your room or home that needs changing and make the necessary changes to improve your life. Finding the right colors is easy as long as you are able to use these two principles together.

According to Chinese astrology, each person is born under a year which is associated with one of the five elements. Each element is then represented by one or more colors. The five elements interact with each other in both a productive cycle and a destructive cycle. The productive cycle shows how each element creates or produces another while the destructive cycle shows how each element destroys or is destroyed by another. Once you know the colors representing each element, you will be able to figure out the colors you should surround yourself with and the colors you should stay away from. Incorporate more colors representing your own element as well as the colors of the element that produces your element. Stay away from the colors representing the element that destroys your own element.

Wood: Green, Brown
Fire: Red, Bright Strong Yellows, Orange, Pink, Purple
Earth: Light Yellow, Light Brown, Light Sandy Tan
Metal: White, Gray, Silver
Water: Blue, Black

Feng shui colors are also used to represent the eight sections of the Bagua. This tool can be used by holding it with the black section facing you and the red section pointing to the direction straight in front of you while standing at the entrance of either an individual room or the doorway of your home. You will be able to precisely map out the eight sections of that space and its corresponding areas of your life. Look for the areas of your life that needs improving. Incorporate more of the color used to represent that area in that particular section of the room or home. The diagram below shows us that the five elements are also used in the Bagua. This is important, because it will determine what kind of objects are appropriate for each given section of the room. Different areas of your life can be improved considerably by placing the right objects in the right places.

In feng shui, there are many feng shui tips to help you activate your career corner of your bedroom to bring in career opportunities and great income luck. There are numerous feng shui cures and feng shui remedies to enhance your career luck to generate good fortune for your career opportunities. However, I am going to touch on the top 10 most potent feng shui tips to activate your career luck. Below are 10 amazing feng shui tips on how to activate career corner of bedroom to generate never-ending good luck for your career life.

10 Feng Shui Tips To Activate Career Corner Of Bedroom

1. Sleep With Your Head Pointed To The Northwest
In general, the Northwest is your success and personal development corner. If you want to activate your career corner and enhance your career opportunities, you should sleep with your head pointed to the direction of the Northwest.

2. Suppress The 5 Yellows Which Causes Obstacles
The 5 Yellows is the most dangerous star which will cause misfortunes and obstacles to your life. If you want to enjoy good career opportunities and career luck, you should suppress the 5 Yellow in your bedroom. This year, the 5 Yellows is in the North corner and you should hang a 5 Element Pagoda at the North of your bedroom to suppress the 5 Yellow.

3. Make Sure That There Is No Toilet Above Or Next To Your Bedroom
Be sure to check if your bedroom is directly below a toilet on the floor above you. This is an especially harmful situation in the bedroom which will cause great obstacles to your career life. You should move your bed away from under the toilet immediately. Even sharing a common wall of your bedroom with a toilet is extremely inauspicious.

4. Place Feng Shui Coins On Your Bedroom Side Table
Tie three coins with red thread and place them on your bedroom side table. This symbolizes a never ending source of income for your career life.

5. Sit Facing Your Sheng Chi Direction
The most potent method of enhancing your career luck is to sit facing your sheng chi (success) direction. In your bedroom, if you are reading a book, try to sit facing your personal sheng chi direction to generate good career luck. You can find out your personal sheng chi direction by calculating your personal KUA number.

6. Create A Personal Wealth Vase In Your Bedroom’s Cupboard
This is a very personalized tip passed to me by a practicing feng shui master from Macau. He advises me to place a personal wealth vase in my bedroom’s cupboard to preserve my wealth and enhance my career opportunities. Get a beautiful vase and fill your wealth vase with precious gems and diamonds and even crystals and so forth. You can also put your jewelry inside your wealth vase. Please take note that your wealth vase must be kept hidden away, inside a cupboard in your bedroom. The wealth vase must never face the front door as this means your wealth and career luck is flowing away from you. And never show anyone your wealth vase.

7. Keep A Three Legged Frog In Your Bedroom For Luck
Frogs are regarded as auspicious creatures to have in your house. It is the three legged frog that is extremely auspicious. Place the three legged frog symbol near the vicinity of your bedroom door but facing inwards, as if it has just come into the room. This symbolizes never ending wealth luck and career opportunities going into your room.

8. Lighting Your Dressing Table
The best feng shui feature at a dressing table is to have the presence of bright light at the dressing table. This brings in good yang energy which leads to great auspicious energy to your bedroom. If your dressing table is located in the South, Southwest or Northeast of your bedroom, this lighting feature will bring in even more auspicious career luck into your life.

9. A Quartz Crystal On Your Table
All through your working life, you should place a large rectangular cut crystal on your desk top if your workspace is in your bedroom. You can use the crystal as your paperweight. The combined energies created by the intrinsic earth essence of the crystal and by the wood element that represented growth will benefit your career life tremendously.

10. A Solid And Firm Bedroom Door
The door of your bedroom should be solid and firm to be auspicious. Doors should also be large enough to comfortably accommodate the occupant of the room. By placing a solid and firm bedroom door, you will activate your career luck and bring in abundant opportunities for your career life.

Conclusion
The truth you need to understand is that very few bedrooms have perfect feng shui. There is no such thing as the perfect bedroom for activating career luck. You only need to learn some of the feng shui tips and apply them flexibly in your room. You do not need to implement all the tips as your bedroom may not suit all the feng shui cures and remedies. Simply apply the tips as you deem fit.

Arranging or rearranging your home’s furniture is probably the easiest way to implement feng shui in the home. Furniture in your home says so much about the home owner’s personality. We often see something we like and decorate our house with it, not considering how it will react “energy-wise” with the space it is in and the surrounding items. You may decorate your room with your favorite color not realizing that too much of one color can create an imbalance of harmony that can affect areas of your life. When looking to optimize feng shui in the home, furniture placement, arrangement and color are very important aspects to consider.

Furniture is also considered an “inhabitant” of your home. This is because it takes up space and energy in your home as much as you do or as much as your plants and pets do. You should look at and consider how all the “inhabitants” of your home interact with each other. Is balance maintained? Is there conflict? Is everything in harmony? These are the kinds of questions that you would want to have answers to when looking to rearrange or redecorate your home.

Once you decide to apply feng shui in the home, furniture should be one of the first things to consider in terms of how the item represents a Feng Shui element. Usually, the color is the first thing that people look at. Shape comes second, material comes last. Most objects or furnishings are easy to “read”—it will represent two or more elements (i.e. from the 5 element theory), and you can take this as the first step to understanding the Feng Shui element expressions of the various items in your home.

When considering feng shui in the home, furniture can also dictate and give you understanding of how chi enters and flows throughout your environment. With them you can see the relationship between what you have materially and what effect it has on your life. Using Feng Shui in furniture gives you a sense of the kind of energy objects emit, how they speak to you and how they affect your general well being.

Here are a few tips on how to properly arrange your furniture so that they follow Feng Shui theory:

Move tall pieces of furniture away from your line of vision. Tall, big objects that loom over you give you a feeling of anxiety, and reduce your sense of well being.

Avoid huge pieces of furniture that can just translate to clutter. Clutter not only messes up the flow of chi in your home, but indicates stagnant energy as well. Avoid clutter in every aspect of your life, as it gives nothing but bad energy.

When implementing feng shui in the home, furniture can be used to camouflage offending or hard-to-remedy problems. Bedrooms are prone to a lot of sharp, jutting corners that symbolize “poison arrows”. Poison arrows bring health and marital or relationship problems.

Remember that less is always more, when placing furniture in a room. Too much furniture not only makes the room feel cramped, but restricts the flow of energy as well.

Furniture size and positioning should also be made proportional to the size of the room or home.

human life?In Feng shui belief, it represents wealth, bounty, and fruits of your labor. And also it is tied with house member’s health. How does the stove function to improve people life? The main concern is the placement of stove. By applying Feng shui concept on stove placement, it is necessary to consider the Gua or Chi it belongs to. Here, Gua means to generate energy in term of house direction. Besides of consider house direction, the year of birth of house owner is one of the aspect to consider.

In fact, the space limitation of modern houses does not allow us to have more alternative to place stove. Feng shui practitioners have to put up with this limitation when apply their Feng shui rules. Moreover, today modern kitchen is different from traditional style. Look at development history of stove in China, handmade traditional stove was used in majority household. Even now in China rural area, hand build stove are still the main stove. Handmade stove unlike modern stove we using now, traditional Chinese stove occupy a lot of space and it built on the ground. Build stove in household is a serious matter in old time. An auspicious date is chosen to build stove to ensure everything is going smooth. Handmade stove is not removable, so the position of stove is permanent. Due to stove its size is big and attach to ground, bear in mind, Feng shui define Chi as an energy flowing along landform, no doubt handmade stove is considered a very important component of Feng Shui.

Compare to modern stove, modern stove is not attach to ground and its size is smaller than handmade stove, I wonder how it is going to influence Chi? Moreover firewood is the main energy resource for handmade stove, since Feng shui manipulate five elements theory, traditional stove is considered as fire element at once. Today we can see electric hot plate stove and gas stove is used in household, if Feng shui practitioner insists to consider stove as one of the Feng Shui component, I wonder how do we consider electric hot plate facing direction? And what is the element of modern stove belongs to? Many Feng shui writers are not understand what is the principle for Chinese concern stove as a part of Feng shui, they just keep relate stove to abundance of food, saying food as a indicator of wealth and generosity. After all, it’s human nature to associate food and nutrition with nurturing and sustenance.

Though traditional stove is different, Feng Shui practitioner can base on traditional Feng Shui remedy to make modification, so that compatible to modern lifestyle. Here I provide some tips for kitchen design:

1. Kitchen should be light and airy.

2. Stove should not be seen from main entrance

3. Do not place stove at the center of house

4. If the stove is placed on ground floor, on the second floor,

do not place bed in the same Gua section as stove located.

5. Avoid to place stove under beam.

6. Drainage system under stove bring bad luck to health and financial.

The ancient Chinese art of Feng Shui involves the placement of items in a location so that ch’i (energy) can properly flow through the space, bringing balance and harmony to its’ inhabitants. While the true practice of Feng Shui can be very complicated and time-consuming, there are five easy cures to improve the flow of ch’i in the home for the beginner, which I will outline below.

Cure One: Close all toilet seat lids and close or cover all drains (showers, baths, and sinks) when they are not in use. This will prevent the flow of ch’i out of your house and into the sewer system, where it cannot do you and your family any good.

Cure Two: Place mirrors or reposition desks in home offices where you are positioned with your back to the door. This prevents anyone from sneaking up on you (purposely or not!) and startling you, which creates bad energy and robs ch’i from the home.

Cure Three: Minimize clutter! Not only will cleaning off the 3 foot tall pile on the coffee table or mountain of paperwork on your desk add to the visual appeal of your home, it will also allow for greater flow of ch’i. That’s a very good thing.

Cure Four: Look around your house. Does everything work? Replace burnt out light bulbs, fix that broken chair rung you’ve been meaning to get to, or grease the door that squeaks. Besides taking up mental space in a to-do list in your brain, these items detract from your pleasure in your living space, and take away from the positive ch’i. Dedicate a Saturday (or two) to your projects, and reap the benefits! Need help? Make a trade with a friend or neighbor.

Cure Five: Help the ch’i move around the house with wind chimes, indoor fountains, and multi-faceted hanging crystals. Strategically placed in corners, wind chimes help soften the edges of a room. Be sure to pick ones with looks and sounds you love, and hang them out of head-bumping range. Indoor fountains, with the soothing sound of running water, require minimal maintenance, and help bring elements of the outdoors inside. Running water helps enhance the ch’i in a twofold manner: by the motion itself, and by the tranquility and peace a fountain can bring you. Multi-faceted hanging crystals can also help improve the circulation of ch’i in the house by reflecting light. Use these at the end of long hallways, or at entrances/exits of the house, to keep the ch’i from rushing out of the building when doors are opened. Again, be sure to hang them above head-level.

By following these five simple and inexpensive Feng Shui cures, you too can increase the positive energy, or ch’i, in your home. Happy Feng Shui’ing!

Whether you’re single, dating or married, the bedroom blues (and blahs) can strike at any time. Here are five simple and easy to implement Feng Shui cures to help increase your romance quotient in the bedroom and beyond.

To begin, stand in the doorway of your bedroom, and make a note of the rear right corner of the room. In the Feng Shui bagua map, this is known as the love and marriage area, and it is the area of the room that we will be focusing on.

Cure 1: De-clutter and clean the area. This will help allow the ch’i, or energy in the home, to flow freely through the area. Take the extra step, and remove clutter from the rest of the room as well. Not only will that help the ch’i, it will also help improve your relaxation level while you are in the room, which can help romance.

Cure 2: Enhance the romantic decor. Look at any photos, art, or collectibles you may have in the love and marriage area of the room. Sad clowns, photos of exes, or solitary figures are not desirable for this area. Choose items which represent romance for you. Some positive examples might include a vintage poster of a kissing couple, abstract sculptures of two intertwined figures, or even something as whimsical as two happy clowns (if you happen to like clowns and find them romantic) or a figurine of cuddling frogs or bears. The most important thing is to represent couples, particularly romantic or loving couples.

Cure 3: Add fresh flowers in a pretty vase. Living things add ch’i to a space, and flowers in particular add beauty and romance to any space. Roses would be a traditional choice, but tulips, irises, or any flower you love will work well. Avoid single flowers, however, because that implies aloneness. Larger groupings of flowers imply an abundance of love and romance. Take good care of your flowers, and replace frequently. Allowing dead or dying flowers to remain in the area will detract from, rather than enhance the ch’i.

Cure 4: Hang a small wind chime and/or hanging crystal above the area. This will soften the corner of the room. Choose wind chimes that make soft, pleasant sounds that won’t disturb you while you sleep if there is a breeze in the room. The design should suggest romance to you in some way- either by its’ shape (a heart, for example), or by the design (again, avoid solitary figures). Hanging crystals, besides reflecting lovely rays of light on the wall, help move ch’i throughout the room.

Cure 5: Place a small, tabletop indoor fountain in the area. Choose a design which speaks to you of romance, either by design or by shape. Many indoor fountains feature whimsically romantic designs (cuddling frogs, for example), or have groupings of candles, stones or bamboo. This will keep the ch’i in the room flowing, and provide soothing sounds to enhance the romantic aura of your bedroom.

Implement these five easy Feng Shui cures, and you will be on your way to upping your ante in the game of love!
