Laxman Jhula Area
It is one of the most famous monuments in title = "Rishikesh"> Rishikesh. This is a suspension bridge and was built in 1929. According to belief, Rama's brother Laxman crossed the river using a rope of jute. To enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding and the cool breeze, this bridge is an ideal place.

Bharat Mandir

Rishikund:
Rishikund is one of the ancient sites adjacent to Triveni Ghat. It is a the most significant tourist attractions in Rishikesh. Prehistoric records indicate that this gap was filled by the goddess Yamuna and reflects the Ragunath temple, which is dedicated to Lord Rama and his wife.
Triveni Ghat:
It is a blessed place in the city where most of the pilgrims in droves to take a holy bath. A large number of pilgrims swarm to this place every night to attend the Ganga Arti which is produced in this Ghat. Geeta Bhawan:
This is one of the oldest temples in the area. The famous epic Mahabharata and Ramayana are described on their walls. It is a must visit amongst the tourist attractions in Rishikesh.
Parmarth Niketan:
One of the most prominent temple complex and ashram in the area. He is known for his extensive work in Hinduism. It is a school run on conventional patterns of India. The ashram organizes excellent Ganga Arti at the Ghat and Hawan Parmarth every night. Active Parmarth Niketan in cleaning the banks of the sacred river Ganges. Niketan Gaushala Parmarth are opening a large scale in the Himalayan region of Uttranchal in connection with a special program to be the mother cow, off the roads and give a strong haven in which to live.
